July 11-13th weekend
Let's see...
Friday: Went to my friend Many's Bday party. Thanks Chanthan for organizing. I showed up a bit late at Philthy's...but I had already eaten, but there's always room for appetizers and tea. Then the celebrations continued by watching "Wanted", it was that or "Hancock"...ok so I think it was James or Charles that wanted to see Hancock instead but ah well, there were only 24 seats left for Hancock and it was all front seat so it was a noooooooo... Since there was an hour in between, we were to William's Pub for tea and coffee while we waited for the movie to start.
It was a good evening to see old friends after all, a couple of friends that I've seen a few times.
Saturday: Had a meeting for visitation ministry that I am involved in and then spent time w/ mom by shopping at T&T and just cooking for her and eating at home. Yes, it's a rare occasion.
Sunday: Was the busiest day since Friday. I saw my friend and sister Tania RSVP to a nic4 reunion as unable to attend b/c she was in Brampton. When I saw that I called her immediately to see where in Brampton that I could give her a ride also. So I drove her to MCAC and she really enjoyed it. She asked numerous questions in Sunday School on the book of Romans, which is great to see. When she was asked about MCAC, she really enjoyed Sunday School, almost like she didn't want to leave, haha, and this was 1pm. Thanks to Pat, Felix, and everyone else for making her feel welcome...she also found one thing about me, she didn't know...I go salsa dancing, hahaha... After lunch w/ Zoe and Pat, we took off to Richmond Hill for bowling. I invited a few friends to join as well, so it was fun. I get teased but it was all in good fun. I found bowling was not my forte, but overall fun. After a round of bowling at Worldbowl, the gang and i went to Destiny's Bubble tea on Finch, nice nice place. We all had the nice comfy couch and i ordered the "Mango mix" oh sooooooooooo yummy, but I split w/ Tania. Ryan had the mocha mix, looked soooooo good. Grace had this green apple drink I think, w/ jelly, yummmmmmy. Surprisingly I ordered a Green Tea mix and Keith liked it, haha...
After a round at Destiny's most of us went to Ten Ichi Sushi Restaurant in Scarborough. Must say, it was fabulous. I think it is one of the better ones as it has a wide variety...I think i want to go there for my birthday this year. The Koebe beef was excellent, short ribs were yummy, tuna excellent....oh and the dragon roll over a mango sauce, I'm going to druel soon... It was Nic4/Nic5 reunion/discuss fundraising ideas. So thanks to Mike for coming out, just listening and then just catching up...discussing on topics also the social economic condition in Toronto. The mixed income social housing project, poverty in Toronto, missions, etc...
Overall, a ***** 5 star day=)
