Intensive Weekend

This past Saturday, I was stuck at home doing MANUAL LABOUR..A stonepatio. It was family time I guess...My adopted brother aka BD was also over to help, along w/ my biological brother and my mom. My dad was away. I don't think I've SLAVED so much...It's not perfect but it looks ok. The only bad part to this project is that no one knew how to use the "tamper." When you put a computer geek, a Math Prof, an Accountant, it still equals nothing when it comees to knowing the equipment. After calling the rental place for assistance, my brother was able to get it moving. In the process, almost ran me over w/ the "tamper" as it leaped at me. I was on my cell at the time talking to the c/s rep when it started to work properly. Ai yah!! Anyways, it's done and it's over!!

On Sunday, I went to Church...Obviously. Service was great today, I was Ushering and also got to witness a friend's Baptism. It was a great moment to hear his testimony and just to see this grand occassion. After service, we went to TO's Ashbridges Bay for a BBQ w/ friends. It was great to see a couple friends and also meet a lot of new people. Btw, I don't remember that many of them. Got a few business cards, lots of good food=) After, the BBQ, we went for a stroll along Boardwalk, then headed back to the car. Let's just say, parking can be violent there. Two cars were yelling at each other as to who would get my parking spot. I was afraid to drive outta there=( Fortunately, my friend drove, YAY!
Since we were already in TO, we headed up to PAC mall, and took a look at "Taste of Asia." I bought boxes of Chinese Instant Noodles and my friend bought Chinese Mushrooms(Shitake).
After "Shopping", we went for dinner at one of my fav places "Congee Wong."

That was my weekend adventure...bye for now.=)
