Chinese New Year in TO

It's the year of the "Dog"...for those that don't know according to the lunar calendar...It is the most important celebration for the Chinese people. Today, I had the chance to go to TO to celebrate the Chinese festival at the EX (Automative Building) w/ some friends and family. It was an opportunity to just see the Chinese Festivities and also hang out w/ friends and meet new people. There were quite a few Chinese lantern displays of various animals/characters, chinese folkdance, food and bbtea. I must say, Dinner was good and very filling and cost efficient. One thing for sure, is thank goodness for cell phones...very hard to locate people and meet up w/ them. To finish off, I'm glad everything went well today, met new friends and I'm glad everyone had a good time=)
